Sustainability is the watchword all across Europe this year. In keeping with cool trends we have managed to secure three iPad 2’s fully loaded with Apps credit, camera connectors, vga connectors and rather fetching green (of course) covers. These are up for grabs in the East Midlands’ WEA Sustainability Swap Shop Competition.
Cast your mind back to last April. You may remember a WEA Sustainability project (
Rules & Regulations Entrants must have a current WEA Staff ID number. (These can be found by looking on the front page of a recent tutor contract or payslip) Or be a member of a branch with an organiser to validate your association with the WEA through sharing their Staff ID on the submission. Or be a WEA (including project) volunteer with a member of staff to validate your association with the WEA through sharing their Staff ID on the submission. Each tutor can enter up to five times for the iPad 2 Sustainability Competition. Each tutor can win only once. The winners will be announced via the Tutor blog (http://weatutor.wordpress.com) and Twitter pages as well as on the regional website (http://weaeastmidlands.org) Entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and Regulations. All decisions regarding the winners are final and are at the discretion of the East Midlands’ Sustainability Inclusion and Diversity Team The competition is open for entry between March 2st 2012 at 11:30am The deadline for entry submission is Monday 26th March 2012 at 4pm The winners will be notified by email and announcements throughout WEA websites on 29th March 2012. Continuing our commitment to sustainable practice we would like to know how you would embed sustainability within the WEA. This could be as a volunteer, a branch member, a tutor or a member of staff.
