Over half our courses are developed with other local charities and community groups to ensure they really do meet people’s needs and interests.

We also provide a wide range of courses in partnership with trade unions and employers.

As a result, we have a wide and varied number of partners including local community groups, charities, businesses and public sector organisations.

We’re always open to discussing new ways of working with our partners. For instance, the WEA currently develops and provides courses with partners and we often run courses from premises provided by other organisations such as the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery in Nottingham city centre which has hosted art appreciation courses tutored by one of their artists-in-residence.

By working with a range of partners we’re able to develop relevant and inspirational courses which provide access to adult education where it’s most needed or wanted, in the best way possible for students.
